Dental Assistant

Role Overview This position involves supporting dental teams by ensuring patient safety, maintaining clinical standards, and managing digital patient records. Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, assisting with patient care, taking diagnostic X-Rays, charting treatments, educating patients on oral health, and adhering to OSHA and infection control protocols. Additionally, the role requires maintaining cleanliness of clinical and common areas, assisting with inventory and supplies, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent Active CPR and AED certification Certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Open Dental/Dentrix) is helpful Sealant, Coronal Polishing, or PALS certifications are a plus Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 10-15% Ability to lift up to 15 lbs and perform prolonged sitting and standing Key Duties Prioritize patient and team safety Follow infection control standards and dispose of waste properly Maintain accurate digital patient records and assist in patient education Prepare treatment areas and assist with diagnostic procedures Ensure cleanliness and organization of clinical spaces Support team with general cleaning and operational tasks Overall, the role offers growth opportunities, benefits, and a supportive environment focused on quality dental care. #J-18808-Ljbffr The VIOS Clinic
