Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. You will enjoy a structured work schedule with office hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, facilitating a strong work-life balance. Though you will work independently, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that encourages collaboration, offers peer support, and engages in regular meetings to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions via a secure telehealth platform, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.

  • Thoroughly assess clients' family dynamics, relationship patterns, and any past trauma to inform and guide treatment planning effectively.

  • Create and implement customized treatment plans that address the specific needs and concerns of individuals, couples, or families.
  • \n
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention support and liaise with local crisis services when necessary to ensure client safety and well-being.

  • Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, adhering to ethical standards and regulations.

  • Educate clients and families on effective communication strategies, boundary-setting techniques, and behavioral modifications to enhance their daily functioning and interactions.

  • Engage in regular multidisciplinary meetings to provide insight on complex cases, discuss progress, and collaborate on care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Behavioral Health Connections, you will work with a varied client base, including individuals facing mental health disorders, couples experiencing relationship issues, and families dealing with complex dynamics. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, and you will have the opportunity to utilize culturally sensitive approaches in your practice, ensuring that all clients feel respected and understood.

Qualifications\n

  • A current and valid LMFT license in Vermont approved by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).

  • A minimum of two years of experience in providing therapy, ideally in the area of couples and family counseling.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills that facilitate effective client interaction and team collaboration.

  • Ability to remain composed and effective in crisis situations, demonstrating sound judgment and empathy.

  • Knowledge of ethical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and HIPAA regulations as they pertain to telehealth practices.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience in teletherapy or telehealth practices is preferred, with training and support provided for those new to these methods.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our competitive compensation package ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience, along with comprehensive benefits designed to support your well-being.
