Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to adult patients in a PCU/IMCU environment with high-acuity needs.
- Monitor patients with complex conditions including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, CKD, TDM2, and encephalopathy; respond to clinical changes promptly.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies (including IV therapies and heparin drips) and monitor anticoagulation as ordered.
- Perform ongoing assessments, document findings in the electronic patient record, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and coordinate with the care team to adjust plans of care.
- Ensure patient and family education, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with BLS and ACLS procedures as needed.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in PCU/IMCU or similar high-acuity setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to work in a hospital environment with a 2x3 Days shift pattern
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment
- Must be able to provide care for patients with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, CKD, and related conditions
