A 300-bed hospital in Quincy, IL is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist to cover the overnight shift. This contract opportunity offers a 7-on/7-off schedule, working approximately from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The position is ideal for a pharmacist with a solid background in inpatient pharmacy and familiarity with hospital systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense medications for inpatients during the overnight shift.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, accurate medication use.
• Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems for medication orders and inventory management.
• Monitor for medication effectiveness and potential interactions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Illinois.
• At least 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Schedule:

• 7 consecutive nights on, followed by 7 days off

Duration:

• 13 weeks with potential extension
