Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly qualified mid-level associate to join their Intellectual Property Transactions & Strategies group in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in technology and intellectual property licensing, as well as IP support in M&A and other corporate transactions. Duties Draft and negotiate joint development, collaboration, and strategic alliance agreements. Handle technology and intellectual property licenses and services agreements. Manage distribution agreements, including OEM and VAR agreements. Conduct intellectual property and technology due diligence in M&A transactions. Requirements Outstanding academic credentials. Comparable law firm experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction. Skills Experience with open source software license terms. Understanding of intellectual property issues in artificial intelligence technology.
