Principal Engineer – DevSecOps & Release Engineering, You will:

 

• Implement reusable libraries, starter repositories, workflow templates, and deployment blueprints. Maintain ADRs, guides, and runbooks to accelerate adoption.
• Engineer GitHub Actions workflows, pipeline policy gates, and audit?ready evidence aligned to P2P?RCM. Provide onboarding support and reusable components for teams with or without enterprise pipelines.
• Integrate Sonar, Checkmarx, Black Duck, GitHub Secret Scanning, and DAST into CI/CD pipelines. Automate vulnerability management and enforce compliance gates.
• Build Harness CD modules for OpenShift deployments, including approvals, rollbacks, and traceability. Partner with Platform Engineering and Security teams to ensure resiliency.
• Mentor engineers, champion emerging technologies, and drive adoption of standards through enablement sessions and reference implementations.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in Python development with deep expertise in modern patterns and test automation.

• Experience in building web applications and APIs (Django, FastAPI, Flask).
• designing CI/CD automation and DevOps practices (GitHub Actions, reusable workflows).
• Experience integrating security scans (Sonar, Checkmarx, Black Duck, GitHub Secret Scanning, DAST).
• Experience in cloud?native platforms and container orchestration (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Experience deploying to OpenShift using Harness CD, including promotion, approvals, and rollback strategies.
• Experience in DevSecOps or application security engineering.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, security, and governance stakeholders.
• Experience utilizing AI?powered development tools (GitHub Copilot).

• Experience with Django/Wagtail CMS at enterprise scale.
• Experience with infrastructure?as?code and GitOps (Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD).
• Familiarity with repo governance, branching strategies, and release models.
• Experience with SRE practices, observability platforms, and incident management workflows.
• Prior open?source contributions (Conda?Forge, Pixi Package Manager, GitHub Actions).

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $80/hr to $90/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
