Position Overview The Housekeeping Aide plays a critical role in ensuring that the facility is clean, sanitary, and safe for both residents and staff. Key Responsibilities Follow cleaning and housekeeping schedules to ensure consistency and efficiency. Coordinate daily cleaning tasks with the nursing services team to meet the needs of residents. Maintain adequate levels of housekeeping supplies and equipment. Perform daily cleaning duties including washing, sanitizing, and disinfecting various surfaces and fixtures throughout the facility. Properly dispose of waste and trash in designated containers. Ensure all work areas are neat and tidy, and store cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies properly. Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and infection control procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. COVID‑19 vaccination required. Preferred: Previous experience in long‑term care, healthcare, or facility maintenance.
