Assistant Property Manager

Job Description

The Assistant Property Manager supports the efficient management of a multi-family property portfolio of 6-10 properties, working closely with the Property Manager and Owner/Investor. This role involves tenant relations, property maintenance oversight, and compliance monitoring, with occasional on-call responsibilities. There is a clear path for career advancement within the property management team.

Responsibilities

Maintain positive tenant relations and address tenant concerns promptly
Coordinate property maintenance and repairs to uphold property standards
Monitor compliance with relevant regulations
Coordinate removal of violations from HPD, DOB and ECB
Support the Property Manager and Owner/Investor with daily operational tasks

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in property management

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Familiarity with property management software
Strong customer service skills
