Your future role at a glance Location: Pensacola, FL Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola Department: Surgery Schedule: Days | 12 hour days with call rotation How you'll make an impact in this role Evaluate patient health, monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments, and deliver compassionate direct care in accordance with medical orders. Develop, implement, and adjust individualized patient care plans while collaborating with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, discharge instructions, and disease prevention, serving as a dedicated advocate for patient wellness and safety. Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records (EHR) while adhering to hospital protocols, infection control standards, and legal healthcare regulations. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Certified Registered Nurse specializing in First Assistant credentialed from the National Assistantat Surgery Certification obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room credentialed from the National Assistantat Surgery Certification (NASC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time ofhire.
