Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Med Surg RN in a Dynamic Float Pool!


- Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
- Holiday Commitment: Must work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles (Thanksgiving & day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, NYE & NYD)
- Position Type: Float Pool Position
- Specialty: Med Surg RN
- License: NM license can pend at time of submission
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Required (religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of COVID exemption form)
- Local Rules: No locals within 100 miles
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in Med Surg or Tele
- Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS
- Patient Ratios: 1:5
- First-timers Accepted: Yes
- Weekend Requirements: 3 weekends on, 3 weekends off (schedule dependent)
- Floating: Required (to Med Surg units and boarders in other departments)
- Skills Required:
- Feeding tube care and management
- Pre/Post Hemodialysis management
- Blood product administration
- Central line blood draw
- IV starts and management
- High-flow nasal cannula and other oxygen therapies
- Isolation precautions
- Oral suctioning
