We are a growing Signal Hill based manufacturing company looking for an experienced full-time Inventory Control Specialist with manufacturing and heavy inventory control experience to serve as a liaison between our Sales, Purchasing, Fabrication and Assembly teams.
The Inventory Control Specialist will create and manage finished goods work orders from the beginning, through to completion and provide the Sales team with accurate delivery estimates.
This position involves a significant amount of data entry, tracking, written and verbal communication between departments and vendors and daily work order follow-ups. The successful candidate is organized, detail-oriented and fluent with Excel, ERP and able to implement MRP software.
It is expected that the specialist learns quickly, follow up on outstanding items daily, be organized and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
This position works closely with multiple departments and requires someone who can provide accurate information, communicate effectively, and make sure work orders continue flowing through the manufacturing process.
