Within parameters, determines routing and arrangements for shipments, considering such factors as nature of items being shipped, method of handling, size, urgency, and cost. Assesses most economical and efficient contract carrier to transport shipments. Prepares and maintains records of product shipped and received. Lift heavy items and may operate equipment such as a pallet jack.Essential Functions:Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications and shipping requirementsLog shipments and receipts into SAP and maintain accurate recordsPackage materials and accessories with appropriate protective materialsMark and label items with proper identification and shipping labelsCoordinate with transportation companies and utilize carrier-related computer programsFollow established shipping and receiving practices, procedures, and routing requirementsAdhere to shipping schedules and delivery timelinesProficient computer skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to walk, stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and move packages weighing 30+ pounds repeatedly throughout the workdayQualifications:Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California area is $44,000.00 - $ 82,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
