Job#: 3041051 Job Description: ETL Data QA Location: Columbus, Ohio | Minneapolis, Minnesota | Dallas, Texas (Onsite, 4 days a week/1 remote) Rate: $55-70/hr on W2 dependent upon experience Duration: 3-6 month Contract-to-Hire Role Overview A position is available for a QA Test Automation Lead within a Data Lake and Data Warehouse team. This role involves developing solutions that enable the business to use data as a strategic asset. The QA Test Automation Lead will develop automation test strategies and frameworks, ensuring all IT SDLC processes are documented and practiced while working with multiple technology teams across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities Lead quality assurance efforts for multiple concurrent projects focused on data ingestion and integration, ensuring alignment with banking regulatory standards. Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to support scalable and secure data operations. Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies covering System Integration Testing (SIT) and partner with the team for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and project managers to ensure data quality, integrity, and traceability throughout the ingestion lifecycle. Drive continuous improvement in QA processes. Design and implement a scalable test automation framework and strategy. Create daily and weekly test execution metrics and status reporting. Assist Project Managers and Scrum Masters to drive the project team to defect resolution. Actively participate in walk-throughs, inspections, reviews, and user group meetings for quality assurance. Analyze data, troubleshoot data issues, and create action plans to address data quality issues. Participate in production implementation verification and be accountable for validating system quality. Required Qualifications Education: A bachelor’s degree is required. Experience: Candidates must have at least 5 years of ETL testing experience in a data warehouse environment, 3 years of test automation experience, 2 years of experience with Snowflake and AWS, and 2 years of experience leading QA Analysts on a project team. Technical Skills: Key technologies include Azure DevOps, Python, AWS S3, Snowflake, Zena, and DataStage. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the financial services or banking industry. Strong experience with SQL, ETL testing, and data warehouse concepts. Proficiency in test automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, PyTest, or DBT tests. Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS). Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks. Detail-oriented and highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
