Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available at a healthcare facility in a hospital or similar setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, overseeing the nursing care plan, and supervising ancillary nursing staff. The position emphasizes patient and employee safety, clinical competency, and teamwork to support optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift (CIRH only); critical care experience; 0 years of experience; location requirements met
• Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience is highly desired
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, develops individualized care plans, and conducts patient teaching in anticipation of discharge. Responsible for accurate documentation, participating in rehabilitation programs, and coordinating discharge planning. Provides supervision and direction to ancillary staff, contributes to team building, and ensures safety protocols are followed. Assumes charge responsibilities after orientation and actively pursues professional development.
