Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week. Start date: 3-4 weeks out per compliance tier. Ratios: 1:4-5. Years of experience required: 2. Weekend required: every other. Certifications required: BCLS. Is on-call required? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes. Open to accommodating block schedule? No. Locals accepted: No. Local radius rule: 75 mile radius. Pending License accepted: Yes. RTO restrictions: please, no more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract. If a shift is missed, please work to make up as soon as possible if able. Can have no more than 3 tardies and 2 call ins in a 13 week contract or can result in a cancelation. Will reset for every 13 week contract. Guaranteed Hours: Yes. Required Skills: Will need to pass Relias EKG exam. Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required. Med/Surg, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, Insulin, PCA, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Level 1 Trauma Experience. Patient Diagnoses: come from ED, OR or ICU. Services on unit: geriatric trauma: 55 yo + with trauma Trauma: Abuse/violence victims, MVA, MVC, Falls Acute Care Surgery: appendicitis, gallbladders, hernia repairs, fistulas, wounds, burns, TBI. Special Equipment: lifts restraints wound vacs traction external fixators. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Magnet & Teaching Hospital / Level I Trauma Center. If you are working a straight night shift: If you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation).
