As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help manage entry points, verify visitors and credentials, monitor assigned areas, and provide welcoming customer service to residents and guests. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM Tue 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thur 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community. Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and contractor records, and communicate entry requirements professionally. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of community entry areas, common areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns and help to deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
