Salesforce Developer - Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Developer Lead to independently build and test components, lead a development team, and provide technical guidance. This role involves evaluating new Salesforce capabilities, conducting proof of concepts, and collaborating with architects to define and document best practices, integrations, and patterns. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in Salesforce development and DevOps practices while mentoring team members and driving innovation. Key Responsibilities Independently build and unit test Salesforce components; resolve code and configuration-based defects. Lead and mentor a development team, providing technical guidance and support. Direct the team in researching and documenting new Salesforce capabilities and platform-related issues. Conduct proof of concepts with architects to evaluate new designs, integrations, and development patterns. Demonstrate proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), flows, triggers, complex formulas, workflows, and security. Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, user story refinement, daily stand-ups, and code reviews. Contribute to enhancements in DevOps processes including pipelines, monitoring, and test automation. Understand and apply enterprise cross-system integration concepts such as event processing and API interactions. Evaluate Salesforce and third-party solutions through prototypes to align with business goals. Design and document development patterns and best practices for technical delivery teams. Required Qualifications Minimum 4 years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise application development, including full-stack Salesforce development. Minimum 2–3 years of experience working in a Scrum team environment. Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. Deep knowledge of Salesforce Data Model across various clouds/products and strong data modeling experience. Expertise in branching and code merging practices using GIT or equivalent repositories. Preferred Qualifications Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I & II, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant. Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. Experience with Salesforce managed package evaluation, deployment, and upgrades. Familiarity with Salesforce CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Copado, Gearset. Experience with other Salesforce products like MuleSoft and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
