Job Full Description

Ready to bring your hands-on manufacturing skills to a precision-driven team ? This full-time role based in Red Wing, MN involves cleaning and finishing metal signage components, removing excess paint from raised lettering, and inspecting surface details to ensure a flawless final product . Candidates should have experience in manufacturing or production environments , strong attention to detail , and comfort working with hand tools and visual instructions . Bring your focus , steady hands , and pride in craftsmanship -experience with metal finishing or signage is a plus. The position offers a collaborative shop environment , consistent workflow , and opportunities to grow within a specialized production team . Expect to work second shift hours with steady weekly scheduling and cross-training opportunities .


Schedule

• 1st Shift Monday - Thursday 5:45am - 2:45pm & Friday 5:45am - 9:45am
  2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 2:00pm - 12:00am ($.50 shift differential added)

Pay

• $16/hr.

Responsibilities

• Remove paint from metal letters and symbols using hand tools and precision techniques
• Repaint turn-backs or rejected parts as needed to meet quality standards
• Inspect all parts for surface quality, alignment, and consistency
• Process required paperwork related to production and quality control
• Identify and remove damaged parts from the production line
• Take corrective action when defects are discovered
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including general cleaning and upkeep
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent hand-eye coordination for precise paint removal and surface finishing
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are consistently met
• Ability to follow visual and written instructions accurately
• Comfort using hand tools and working with small components
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred
• Basic paperwork handling for tracking production and quality control
• Ability to identify defects and take corrective action
• Willingness to perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks
