Shipping And Receiving Specialist, 2nd Shift

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to efficiently handle the movement and organization of materials. This role involves using equipment such as forklifts, carts, and pallet jacks to move finished materials to the shipping area, putting away materials for stock, and staging orders for shipment. The specialist will also perform shipping clerk responsibilities to ensure timely deliveries and audit finished production orders to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Move finished materials from production areas to the shipping area.
• Put away materials for stock in designated locations.
• Stage materials for orders in the shipping area.
• Perform shipping clerk duties to meet on-time delivery standards.
• Audit finished production orders to ensure quantities and labels match.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Organize and file documents correctly.
• Rotate materials through the racking system using FIFO method.
• Organize and straighten up shelves daily.
• Relocate or assign shelf locations to new items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract position based out of Grayslake, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.67 - $20.92/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
