Cantonment Fencing is looking for a dependable, hardworking Skilled Fence Laborer to join our crew. We are looking for someone who has construction or fencing experience, takes pride in their work, and can handle working outdoors in Florida weather.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation of wood, vinyl, chain link, aluminum, & farm fencing
- Measure, level, set posts, install rails/pickets/panels, and assist with gates
- Load and unload fencing materials, tools, and equipment
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and job-site equipment
- Keep the job site clean and organized
- Follow instructions from the crew lead and work efficiently as part of a team
- Maintain quality workmanship and represent Cantonment Fencing professionally on customers' properties
Qualifications:
- Previous fencing, construction, carpentry, or similar hands-on experience preferred
- Comfortable using power tools and construction equipment
- Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, digging, bending, and working on your feet throughout the day
- Must have previously worked outdoors in Florida heat and changing weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to follow directions and work well with a crew
- Attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Valid driver's license is required
We're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, learns quickly, and wants to be part of a growing local company. Fence installation experience is a big plus, but we're willing to consider someone with strong construction experience and the right work ethic.
