Automation Engineer

We are looking for good Selenium Automation skills with UI and API testing with exposure towards Java / Nodejs and also Performance Testing experience. Must be a hands on person

• Demonstrable coding skills in Selenium is a must
• Demonstrable coding skills with JMeter is a must
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python is necessary
• Working knowledge on rest-assured API test automation and BDD/Cucumber
• Should have prior experience of Automation framework development for UI and API testing
• 5-8 years of equivalent experience in related disciplines
• Experience working at a product company, representing the customer, and functionally validating products
• Experience working in high-performing development teams using agile methodologies and tools

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a member of an agile team that drives user story analysis and elaboration, designs and develops software applications, and tests and builds automation tools.
• Analyse and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system.
• Utilize best-of-breed technologies to build a layered, component-based, service-oriented testing architecture over existing Client technologies
• Development of Automation and Testing in a CI/CD environment
• Work with Engineers to drive improvements in code quality via manual and automated Testing.
• Develop Test Plans, Strategies and scheduling of test activity.
• Create and execute Test cases/scripts at any level as required (Unit, Integration, Component Integration, System Integration, Exploratory).
