If your skills and talents are a match for our needs, we can open the door to your next career opportunity!Slot Operations AssistantUnder the direction of the Director of Slot Operations, the incumbent assists in ensuring the operational success of the Slot Department and outstanding guest service is provided to all casino patrons.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns or observations.Offer the highest possible level of Customer Service resulting in a maximum level of guest enjoyment and return play.Continually review and evaluate casino test and refine floor layouts to improve machine productivity and performance on the floor.Responsible for Slot Department compliance with MICS and Federal Currency Reporting Requirements.Ensure procedures protect the integrity and security of the company, employee and guests.Maintain excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations with guests, vendors, visitors and Golden Nugget staff.Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic.Recruit, select, train, coach, counsel, recognize and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce excellence in business operations and guest service.Stay abreast of current trends and practices within area of responsibility and communicate pertinent information to management, peers, direct reports and employees as appropriate.Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.Safeguard the confidential information of all employee, department and company records.Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.Perform other duties as assigned.Supervisory responsibilities include:Assistant Slot Shift ManagerSlot Administrative AssistantSlot AttendantSlot Electronic TechnicianSlot SupervisorSlot TechnicianSlot Technician SupervisorKiosk Impressment ClerkKiosk Impressment SupervisorQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
