Physician Liaison / Outreach Coordinator

$20 - $30 per hour

Physician Liaison / Outreach Coordinator Location: Brookline, MA – Part‑time, FLSA Status: Non‑Exempt. Compensation: $20–$30 per hour, based on experience. Job Overview: OptiMindHealth (OMH) provides behavioral health services across Massachusetts, Colorado, and Montana. This role promotes growth by establishing and maintaining referral relationships with medical providers and healthcare institutions. Primary responsibilities: Identify, initiate, and maintain contact with referral sources to generate new referrals and sustain the existing base. Conduct sales meetings with providers to understand needs, explain service lines, and build relationships. Track follow‑up meetings, close new business, and identify/mitigate obstacles to growth. Report key trends in service gaps to leadership and recommend solutions. Collaborate with institutional office managers to gather market intelligence and increase utilization. Document results in the CRM and present weekly activity reports. Facilitate response to new opportunities by coordinating internal stakeholders. Contribute to sales strategy by developing plans for target markets and service lines. Analyze market demographics and provider/patient data to assess volume and financial contribution. Assist in developing marketing messages and materials for providers. Job requirements / role distribution: Sales Execution and Customer Relationship Management – 75% of time Internal Integration – 10% of time Market Assessment/Sales Planning – 10% of time Participation in Strategic Growth Team – 5% of time Qualifications: Familiarity with OMH’s services, operations, and roles. Understanding of medical practice, referral processes, payer requirements, and economic/clinical factors. Experience planning, organizing, and managing performance goals. Strong service orientation and client‑needs assessment skills. Presentation, probing, and persuasive communication skills. Track record of cultivating productive relationships and independently achieving targets. Ability to travel, work flexible hours, and handle stress. Key skills and strengths: Excellent interpersonal and listening skills. Effectiveness working with diverse stakeholders. Experience in sales, marketing, or public relations. Proficient verbal and written English. Negotiation and persuasion abilities. Knowledge of electronic health record platforms. Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite. Personality traits: Strong work ethic, integrity, independence, detail‑oriented. Tenacious, positive, outgoing, friendly. Creativity and problem‑solving skills. Preferred education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or public health administration. 2+ years of progressive healthcare sales experience, preferably in a multi‑site organization.
