Description
  • Conduct patient evaluations in inpatient or outpatient settings and formulate individualized treatment strategies
  • Implement physical therapy interventions enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
  • Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families about therapeutic goals, discharge plans, and home exercise protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to facility and regulatory standards
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary care team rounds and conferences to assure coordinated patient care
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited program
Certifications
  • Must possess state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Specialty certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) considered an advantage, although not mandatory
Skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience is strongly preferred
