Evaporator Operator - Darlington, WI

Position Overview
This person will be responsible for the evaporation and pasteurization of permeate for lactose production.Essential Job Functions
Troubleshoot problems with equipment
Clean and CIP equipment as scheduled
Communicate with other areas of operations
Adhere to WWP food safety policies and all government food safety and sanitation regulations (ex. FDA, HACCP, GMP, OSHA)
Actively participate on CI (Continuous Improvement) Teams that improve workplace safety, reduce waste and improve factory efficiency
Job Requirements
Process flow knowledge of cheesemaking, whey processing and packaging
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers
Basic computer skills including e-mail, word processing, and spreadsheets
Ability to work with automated equipment
Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure
Ability to work in cross-functional teams
Ability to work with limited supervision
Other Job Skills & Abilities
High School Diploma or GED
History of good attendance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented nature
