Director, AI Tools

NVIDIA is hiring an engineering director to enable and accelerate best of AI tools adoption and seamless integrations into NVIDIA services, to greatly enhance productivities within the company. As an engineer director on AI Tools, you will be responsible for analyzing start‑of‑the‑art AI technologies, understanding NVIDIA workflows and requirements, and fully enabling the best AI tools inside the company. What you’ll be doing: Responsible for building industry insights into state‑of‑the‑art AI tools Work closely with organizational leadership and developers to understand NVIDIA AI transformation needs Accelerate NVIDIA productivity by enabling best state‑of‑the‑art AI systems Work external partners to adopt and develop AI technologies to address NVIDIA growth needs What we need to see: BS (MS preferred) or equivalent experience in EE/CS or related technology fields with 15+ years of work experience with 6+ years of management experience Deep AI knowledge and industry insights on latest AI technology innovations Proven record on AI native development, well versed with AI technologies including LLM, ML, Agentic development, and all the common AI tools from frontier providers and the OSS community Proven record on developing and executing highly complex products and team management Ability to effectively work across organizational boundaries to enhance alignment and productivity between teams A lot of energy to execute fast and willingness to learn and adapt quickly, to match the speed of AI innovations, and deliver with Speed of Light (SOL) Ways to stand out from the crowd: Proactively track AI technology trends, build insights, and collaborate with vendors early to address feature gaps before NVIDIA adoption Prior experience in designing and managing large software projects at enterprise scale with AI Strong track record on team and stakeholder management across multiple organizations We have some of the most forward‑thinking and versatile people in the world working for us and, due to unprecedented growth, our best‑in‑class engineering teams are rapidly growing. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 292,000 USD – 442,750 USD.
