Senior Supply Planner

Your Job Molex is seeking a Supply Planner to join our Optical Systems Business Unit (OSBU) in Fremont, CA. In this role, you will be part of a world-class operations team, contributing to product demand, supply, planning, for the next generation of optical connectivity. We serve global clients in telecom and datacom industries in providing innovative optical modules and subsystems to support our customers' next generation networks. Our Team The Optical Systems Business Unit (OSBU) delivers innovative optical connectivity solutions that enable next-generation telecommunications and data communications networks around the world. Our team partners closely with manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, engineering, product management, and commercial teams across North America, Europe, and Asia to ensure customers receive high-quality products when and where they need them. As a Supply Planner, you will play a key role in balancing demand, capacity, inventory, and supply across a complex global manufacturing network while helping drive operational excellence and business growth. What You Will Do Support the Sales & Operations Planning process by providing supply, inventory, and capacity analysis. Collaborate with Sales and Product Management teams to align demand forecasts with supply plans. Coordinate with all MFG plants (China, Vietnam, Mexico, Poland, USA...), Global SCM team, Sales, and Logistics to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements Participate in cross-functional meetings to align plans and resolve operational issues Perform capacity planning and identify bottlenecks across manufacturing sites to support business growth. Identify risks related to capacity, materials, or delivery and proactively communicate and elevate when needed Support schedule changes, order rescheduling, and priority adjustments based on business needs Track key planning KPIs such as on-time delivery, plan adherence, and inventory turnover Analyze demand, supply, and inventory data to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages or excess inventory Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Supply Chain Management, Data Analysis or other technical disciplines 8+ years experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, Materials Planning, or Operations Planning Experience working in a global manufacturing environment and collaborating across multiple regions and time zones Experience presenting supply plans, operations risks, or planning recommendations to stakeholders Experience in Microsoft Excel for analysis, reporting and planning activities What Will Put You Ahead Advanced SAP planning knowledge, including MRP and supply planning processes. Experience supporting global supply chains across multiple manufacturing locations. Experience with supply chain analytics and inventory optimization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and make data-driven decisions Strong communication and interpersonal skills This position is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship. For this role, we anticipate paying $100,000 - $150,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
