Director Finance

Our client is a Dubai-based, well-capitalized, vertically integrated real estate development and construction platform establishing and scaling its U.S. residential business, with Dallas serving as its U.S. headquarters. The firm is backed by a global organization of 55,000 employees, with 50+ million square feet under development internationally, and decades of experience delivering large-scale residential and mixed-use projects. The U.S. platform has an active pipeline of 1,000 homes, with homes already under construction, and a clear mandate to scale from 500 homes annually toward several thousand units per year over time. The business operates with a conservative, equity-funded capital structure and a fully integrated execution model spanning development, construction, and offsite manufacturing, supporting the build-out of an institutional, multi-market U.S. residential platform. Position Description: The Director of Finance will lead all aspects of corporate funding and capital strategy, directing end-to-end fundraising initiatives across debt, equity, and structured finance while building and maintaining relationships with banks, NBFCs, private equity funds, and institutional investors. This individual will design and execute financing structures for land acquisition and development projects, and will oversee the financial planning and analysis function, including financial modeling, feasibility analysis, project underwriting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Serving as a strategic partner to leadership, the Director will provide insights on investment decisions and risk management and will work closely with development and acquisition teams to evaluate new opportunities while monitoring project cash flows, cost structures, and ROI metrics. Additionally, the Director will strengthen financial controls, reporting frameworks, and compliance processes, ensure adherence to all regulatory and statutory requirements, and drive process improvements and financial discipline across the organization. Primary Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end fundraising initiatives including debt, equity, and structured finance Build and maintain relationships with banks, NBFCs, private equity funds, and institutional investors Design and execute financing structures for land acquisition and development projects Oversee financial modeling, feasibility analysis, and project underwriting Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across projects Provide strategic insights to leadership on investment decisions and risk management Project Finance & Development Support Partner with development and acquisition teams to evaluate new opportunities Monitor project cash flows, cost structures, and ROI metrics Process & Governance Strengthening financial controls, reporting frameworks, and compliance processes Ensure adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements Drive process improvements and financial discipline across the organization Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in finance within real estate development Strong track record in corporate funding / capital raising (debt & equity) Deep understanding of project finance, financial modeling, and investment analysis Established network with lenders, investors, and financial institutions Preferred Qualifications CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent Experience in residential real estate projects and structuring Skills: Strategic thinking & leadership Negotiation and deal structuring Financial modeling & analytics Base Salary Range: $175,000 - $225,000 Eligible for bonus Compensation will be based on experience and include a bonus and benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
