Description Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, teas, smoothies, and other specialty beverages while providing exceptional customer service. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming coffee kiosk environment while ensuring product quality, sanitation standards, and efficient daily operations. Essential Functions: Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Customer Service & Beverage Preparation: Provide exceptional customer service by performing the Customer Service Fundamentals (i.e. Fun 5) in all customer interactions. Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, teas, Matcha, and other specialty beverages in accordance with company recipes and quality standards. Accurately take customer orders and process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Maintain beverage quality, consistency, and presentation standards. Answer questions about beverage and food products. Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all drinks. Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment safely and properly Maintain knowledge of menu items and seasonal offerings. Prepare and serve sandwiches and other food items as applicable Handle customer concerns and questions in a professional and business-like manner. Assist with maintaining an inviting and customer-focused atmosphere. Work collaboratively with team members to maintain efficient service Inventory, Merchandising & Operations: Assist with stocking and rotating products, ingredients, cups, lids, utensils, and supplies. Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing inventory. Monitor product freshness and notify management of inventory or supply needs. Assist with merchandising displays and product presentation. Follow opening and closing operational procedures as assigned. Sanitation & Equipment Maintenance: Maintain a neat, clean, organized, and sanitized work environment at all times. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards. Properly clean and maintain coffee machines, blenders, food preparation equipment, and workstations. Assist with general cleaning duties within the coffee kiosk and surrounding work areas. Operate equipment safely and responsibly while maintaining cleanliness and organization standards. Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: This job operates in a busy retail and food service environment. Responsibilities are performed within the coffee kiosk and surrounding retail areas with exposure to hot surfaces, beverage preparation equipment, refrigeration, and varying temperatures. The position regularly involves customer interaction and high‑volume service periods. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a part‑time position. Days and hours of work are scheduled Sunday through Saturday during coffee kiosk operating hours, generally between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Weekend and holiday work may be required as business needs demand. Must attend all mandatory meetings and participate in required trainings. Travel: No travel is expected for this position. Requirements Required Qualifications: Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous customer service, food service, retail, or hospitality experience preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills. Positive attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Experience operating POS systems and handling cash transactions preferred. Basic math and cash handling skills Ability to obtain food safety certification if required. Preferred Qualifications: Previous coffee shop, café, or specialty beverage experience.
