About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel for Europe to provide expert legal guidance on a wide range of business and operational matters within the region. The successful candidate will be the lead legal advisor for the company's European activities, with a focus on labor and employment, corporate entity management, environmental issues, privacy, various contracts, compliance, and litigation. This role requires a legal professional with a law degree from an accredited institution, a minimum of 5 years' experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, and a strong background in the relevant legal areas. The Senior Counsel will also be responsible for working with outside counsel, if necessary, and must be adept at multitasking, managing various legal matters, and providing practical legal solutions. Applicants for the Senior Counsel position at the company should have a proven track record of exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. The role demands a high level of integrity, a strong work ethic, and the ability to take the initiative in leading legal projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, be adaptable, and be prepared to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. While in-house experience is a plus, it is not a mandatory requirement. The role is part of the European leadership team and offers the opportunity to be involved in various legal matters, including M&A, and to grow as a trusted legal counsel and business partner.
