Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Laboratory Scientist based in Arcadia, LA. The Medical Laboratory Scientist will perform diagnostic laboratory tests, analyze biological specimens, and ensure quality control compliance. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, interpreting test results, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and following strict regulatory and safety standards to ensure accurate and reliable diagnostics.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine practices
  • Strong Laboratory Skills and experience in Pathology
  • Knowledge and application of Quality Control processes specific to laboratory operations
  • Ability to operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced laboratory instrumentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain compliance with CLIA and COLA standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (e.g., ASCP or equivalent) is required
  • Louisiana License
  • Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
