Registered Nurse - PCU Float

UNIT DETAILS: These positions will be hospital float pool staff and will be expected to float throughout the hospital including the Emergency Department, ER hold, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, & Stepdown/PCU. FLOATING: FLOAT POOL - Within facility/scope of practice (ED included) - RATIOS: Up to 1:7 in Med-Surg SCHEDULE: Due to FLOAT POOL - Must be flexible to facility scheduling - No Schedule Requests can be requested/approved/accommodated WEEKEND: Every Other CALL: None MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit does not accept first time travelers AYA OFFER: Once candidate has signed and confirmation sent, manager has 48H to review the profile/confirmation and determine if unit/schedule/expertise fit. *Aya Offer only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines + meets specific facility requirements. RTO: MAX 7 days HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving/Black Friday Christmas Eve/Christmas Day New Years Eve/New Years Day COMPLIANCE: FULL compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule Locals accepted - same rate Please Note: Number of Non-Billable Orientation Hours is determined by contract length (ex 8hrs for 8 week assignment; 10hrs for 10 week assignment)
