Office Assistant Administrative Assistant

Busy Residential Construction office seeking an Office Assistant-Administrative Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions for multiple businesses, including construction, self storage and pawnbroker.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Payroll processing for multiple businesses 
  • Plan and schedule homeowner warranty appointments
  • Perform new buyer walk throughs and warranty orientation
  • Answer inbound telephone calls and communicate with subcontractors
  • Understand and schedule residential building construction procedures and track building supply expenses
  • Perform all other office tasks to include filing, office supply organization, light clean up.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in office administration and accounting basics a requirement
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with many personality types
  • Strong attention to detail
  • ​Strong organizational skills
  • Some construction background would be helpful but not required
