This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure high-quality production parts.What you'll do:Setup, operate, and run centerless grinding machines (Both #3 and #2)Work from process sheets, blueprints or other written/verbal instructions to perform production tasksStop machines to remove finished pieces or to change tooling, setup, piece placement, according to required machining sequencesLoad machines manually or using a crane when maneuvering large, awkward or heavy partsMaintain machine and work area in a clean and safe mannerCheck and inspect parts against predetermined tolerancesWork in other areas or departments assigned for work on other machinery and equipment (training will be provided)Follow all company policies, safety policies, and quality guidelinesPerform additional tasks as assignedAbout you:High school diploma or equivalent2+ years of hands-on machining experienceStrong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, materials, and inspection techniquesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailAbility to work overtime as neededBonus Points:Technical degree or apprenticeship preferredPast experience running a Cincinnati Centerless Grinder
