Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 10-Hour Variable Shifts with Call | Full-Time | Onsite | Projected Start: September 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Pre-Op, Phase 1 (PACU), and Phase 2 recovery areas for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric
• Support surgical services across multiple specialties including ENT, General Surgery, Orthopedics, GYN/OB, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, and Cath Lab procedures
• Maintain required patient ratios: 1:4 in Pre-Op and Phase 2; 1:2 in PACU, including 2-RN coverage for pediatric patients in Phase 1
• Participate in rotating call coverage, including one weekday and one weekend call per month
• Float to other areas as needed and contribute to charge nurse responsibilities within the surgical unit
• Document patient care accurately using facility EHR systems

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (ADN or higher accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Pre-Op, PACU, and/or Phase II recovery in an acute care setting
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
• Proficiency with IV insertion and perioperative nursing skills
• Ability to work variable 10-hour shifts and fulfill call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing assignment experience
• Background in a rural acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with EHR platforms such as Medhost or similar systems
• Experience with common surgical diagnoses including total joints, laparoscopic procedures, C-sections, and Cath Lab cases
