Medical Assistant Opportunity

Sentara Health is currently hiring for a Medical Assistant to join the Radiation Oncology team!

Hours/Shift: PT - Days - shift can be anytime between 7a-7p Monday-Friday.

Job Description:

The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Education:

• High School Diploma

Qualifications:

• 1yr of clinical/admin experience required.
• MA Certification
