Consumer Direct Loan Officer

The Consumer Direct Loan Officer is responsible for handling inbound requests, building rapport with the customer, determining the customer's needs, taking applications, and quoting fees and interest rates. Core Responsibilities Educate clients about the mortgage and home buying process Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions. Explain the various types of mortgage programs available Counsel about ways to position the client for success as a home buyer Advise about opportunities to improve the client's financial situation Guide clients in choosing the mortgage that is best suited to their needs and qualifications Issue accurate preapprovals supported by documentation Provide timely quotes to customers and educate them about the process to ensure an exceptional client experience. Communicate with referral partners and transaction stakeholders Participate in weekly pipeline reviews with processing Requirements NMLS license or willingness to obtain Knowledge of agency (Fannie, Freddie) government (FHA & VA) and DPA as well as non-QM / portfolio mortgage programs Experience with POS (Glyde/Blend), LOS (Encompass), and CRM (TE) Familiarity with Dialpad phone system and Mortgage Coach preferred Excellent people skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Has the ability to multi-task in a very fast paced environment High School Diploma or equivalent required Salary Range $40,000 base + commission and bonus Benefits Medical Dental 401k with employer match Paid Time Off Volunteer Time Off #J-18808-Ljbffr Key Mortgage Services
