Food Service Worker

Department Food & Nutrition-Patient Svcs
Job Summary Assembles patient meals, prepares cold food items and completes sanitation duties. Responsible for food preparation according to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Completes ware-washing tasks as directed. Develops positive relations with other team members and functions competently in team environment. Ensures completion of daily tasks according to established quality and service guidelines. Required Qualifications - Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed. Preferred Qualifications - Prefer one (1) year experience in a hospitality service environment.
- Prefer verbal ability to read and understand written instructions, recipes, and labels. Mandatory Education Preferred Education HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate Required License and Certs Preferred License and Certs Employment Screening Requirements As part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's commitment to keeping people safe, all individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
