Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Training Specialist with a strong background in manufacturing training, new-hire onboarding, OJT, operator/technician certification, and training compliance. The ideal candidate will deliver effective training, maintain accurate training records, and ensure employees meet required process and safety qualifications.







Job Title: Operations Training Specialist 3
Location: Milpitas, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver new-hire, classroom, and On-the-Job Training (OJT) for operators and technicians.
• Develop and maintain training materials, procedures, and curriculum.
• Ensure employees are properly trained, certified, and re-certified based on process requirements.
• Track training records, certifications, licenses, and renewals.
• Monitor training effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct process and system-related training as required.
• Maintain compliance with training standards, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with managers and stakeholders to gather feedback and improve training programs.
• Maintain accurate records for mandatory and safety-related training.
  
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of training experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience delivering new-hire and OJT training.
• Experience training manufacturing operators and technicians.
• Strong experience with certification/re-certification and training records management.
• Excellent public speaking, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with training compliance and documentation.
• Manufacturing floor experience is strongly preferred.
