Cloud Engineer

DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to support and optimize our Microsoft Azure environment. This role partners closely with the Cloud Operations Manager to ensure high-performing, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure across the organization and its subsidiaries.The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Azure architecture, cloud operations, and automation, with a focus on reliability, security, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain scalable cloud solutions within Microsoft AzureManage day-to-day operations of the Azure environment, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and performance optimizationDeploy and support Azure resources such as virtual machines, databases, storage, and networking componentsBuild highly available, multi-region architectures to ensure resilience and uptimeMigrate on-prem and legacy systems into cloud-based environmentsImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and ARM templatesMaintain and standardize configurations through code for consistency and repeatabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and cloud adoption initiativesIdentify and implement improvements to cloud operations, processes, and governanceSecurity & ComplianceImplement and enforce cloud security best practices across the Azure environmentMonitor for and respond to security threats and incidentsEnsure compliance with industry standards and internal governance policiesDevelop and support data protection and disaster recovery strategiesProject & Stakeholder SupportParticipate in cloud projects from planning through execution and deliveryProvide technical expertise in evaluating new tools, services, and infrastructure solutionsSupport ongoing cloud transformation initiatives across the organizationRequirementsRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience supporting cloud infrastructure in mid-to-large environmentsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Hands-on experience with Microsoft AzureStrong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and systems operationsPreferred QualificationsMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (or similar certification)Deep knowledge of Azure services, including:Virtual MachinesAzure SQL DatabaseAzure StorageAzure NetworkingExperience with:Azure Active DirectoryAzure Security CenterAzure MonitorProficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.)Experience with Azure CLI, Terraform, ARM templates, and related toolsFamiliarity with cloud management platforms such as Serverless360Job typePerm
