Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a respected correctional facility in Billerica, MA, currently seeking a Nurse for a full-time position. Correctional experience is required.

Position Details:

• Location: Billerica, MA
• Facility Type: Correctional Facility
• Start Date: July 6, 2026
• Duration: 6-month contract to start, with strong potential for extension
• Rotating Schedule:
• Pay: $60/hr RN local & $47/hr LPN local
• Travel packages available

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and assist with medical treatments
• Perform triage, risk assessments, and emergency first aid
• Apply surgical dressings and bandages
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Collect specimens for diagnostic testing
• Document care accurately and timely
• Report reactions to treatments and changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and assist with discharge planning
• Promote a therapeutic and professional environment
• Support physicians and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts RN license or proof of application
• Minimum 1 year of correctional healthcare experience
• Current CPR certification
• Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)
