Mortgage Investor Claims Processor

Overview The Mortgage Investor Claims Processor handles and processes claims related to FHA mortgage products, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution. The ideal candidate will have experience in mortgage servicing and claims processing. Responsibilities Review and process multiple claims types (FHA, VA, USDA, GSE) according to investor guidelines. Collaborate with mortgage servicers, lenders, and other stakeholders to gather required claim information. Ensure timely submission of claims to avoid financial losses. Monitor and update claims, ensuring all necessary documentation is included and organized. Provide regular updates on claim status and resolutions to relevant parties. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and regulations. Work in multiple internal, client, and third-party systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience At least 2 years of claims processing experience Strong understanding with hands on experience processing claims Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-related software platforms. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
