Registered Nurse (RN)-Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) for a 12-week night-shift contract in Viroqua, Wisconsin. The RN will provide Medical-Surgical nursing care within a 24-bed Critical Access Hospital setting.

The schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with every-other-weekend and holiday coverage. Experience with orthopedic, cardiac, pediatric, telemetry, and EPIC environments is preferred.

• Provide direct nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients throughout assigned night shifts.

• Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate nursing interventions based on clinical needs.

• Monitor patients and communicate significant changes in condition to the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout the course of patient care.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support safe and coordinated patient care.

• Minimum 5 Years of Registered Nurse Experience Required.

• Current, Active RN License Required; Specific State Licensure Requirement Must Be Verified.

• Current BLS/BCLS Certification Required.

• Current ACLS Certification Required.

• Orthopedic, Cardiac, Pediatric, Telemetry, And EPIC Experience Preferred.

This contract opportunity is suited for an experienced Med-Surg RN comfortable working 12-hour night shifts in a Critical Access Hospital with every-other-weekend and holiday coverage.
