Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join a growing nephrology practice serving patients throughout the Raleigh, Cary, Dunn, and Smithfield regions. This position is responsible for providing high-quality vascular and diagnostic ultrasound services while ensuring exceptional patient care and accurate imaging results.

The ideal candidate is experienced in vascular ultrasound studies, comfortable working independently across multiple clinic locations, and committed to delivering excellent patient-centered care. One full-time candidate is strongly preferred, though two part-time candidates will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including:
• Renal ultrasounds
• Dialysis access ultrasounds
• Vein mapping studies
• Travel between designated outpatient clinic locations as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during procedures.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to quality assurance and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS), RVT, RDMS, or equivalent vascular ultrasound certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vascular ultrasound techniques and imaging protocols.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities across multiple clinic locations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of ultrasound experience.
• Experience performing: Renal ultrasounds, Dialysis access ultrasounds, Vein mapping studies
• Experience in nephrology, dialysis, or vascular settings.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR.
