Title: Senior Electrical Engineer (PE Required) - MEP DesignLocation: Austin, TX or San Antonio, TXSalary: $130,000 - $170,000 + BonusFounded in the early 2000s, we are a 100 employee firm with roughly 25-30 employees based in our Austin and San Antonio offices. We provide full service mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering solutions for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. Our portfolio spans K12 and higher education campuses, healthcare clinics, corporate and government facilities, and performing arts and sports recreation centers. At these locations, the focus is on delivering safe, code compliant, and cost effective electrical systems integrated into multidisciplinary building designs. The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead electrical design projects from concept through construction, ensuring NEC compliance, technical excellence, and client satisfaction.What You Will Be Doing Lead electrical design for power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, emergency systems, grounding, and low voltage systemsDevelop and review electrical plans, specifications, single line diagrams, load calculations, and equipment schedules using Revit and AutoCADPerform electrical calculations including short circuit, coordination, voltage drop, and load analysis to support system designPrepare construction documents cost estimates, and bid review packages; review contractor submittals and shop drawingsProvide construction administration and field support, including site visits, RFI responses, and commissioning supportWhat You Need for this PositionBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or equivalent)Professional Engineer license strongly preferred; EIT with pathway to PE considered7+ years experience in electrical engineering design with proven project leadership and mentoring abilityExpertise with Revit and AutoCAD for electrical design and documentationStrong knowledge of NEC and experience applying local codes and utility standardsWhat's In It for YouFull Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k w/ matching) and more!IF interested can you provide an updated resume & salary requirements to View email address on job-api.jobget.com
