Clinical Research Associate

Job Title: Clinical Research Associate Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Associate to join our team. This role involves working on-site in San Diego, California, where you will be responsible for various research activities including site visits, data verification, and protocol compliance. Responsibilities Conduct pre-study, initiation, routine monitoring, and closeout visits. Train study investigators and staff. Prepare detailed site visit reports. Verify data consistency and ensure timelines and deliverables for data collection are met. Manage the query resolution process. Report any protocol deviations and ensure compliance with ICH/GCP/local regulations. Develop and implement corrective actions when necessary. Track and report study progress. Collect, review, and track essential documents. Upload documents into the electronic Trial Master File (eTMF). Plan and prepare training materials. Manage Investigational Product (IP) inventory. Ensure proper collection and shipment of laboratory specimens. Essential Skills Minimum of 1.5 years of monitoring experience, ideally at least 3 years. Experience in oncology is essential. Familiarity with Phase 1-3 clinical trials. Additional Skills & Qualifications Attention to detail. Effective communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Work Environment This is a fully on-site position in San Diego, California, requiring presence 5 days a week. While there is no flexibility for hybrid work, the hours can be adjusted between 7-4, 8-5, or 9-6 to suit individual needs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
