Job Description: The Reynolds and Reynolds Company is seeking a Product Development Attorney for its in‑house automotive documents development and compliance team. Responsibilities Research, draft, and revise automotive transactional documents (e.g., Retail Installment Sale Contracts, Lease Contracts, Buyer’s Orders, Ancillary F&I documents) to ensure legal and regulatory compliance. Monitor and analyze legislation and regulations across 50+ jurisdictions and advise on their impact on product lines and services. Collaborate with internal teams, outside counsel, and industry leaders to align products with industry trends and compliance needs. Assist with the LAW® F&I Document Review program and other Reynolds family of products supporting dealership sales and finance processes. Draft summaries, articles, and presentations for internal and public distribution. Represent Reynolds and the LAW® brand at industry trade shows and conferences as needed. Additional Information Remote position with occasional travel to Dayton, OH or Houston, TX. Must have a dedicated workspace and reliable internet access. Requirements Juris Doctor from an ABA‑accredited law school and a license to practice in at least one U.S. state. 5–10 years’ relevant experience—automotive sales/finance preferred; experience in consumer finance, lending, leasing, compliance, or regulatory affairs also considered. Strong research, writing, communication, and teamwork skills. Able to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure documents maintain a consistent tone and style.
