Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) with a Specialty in Medical Surgical with Telemetry, located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This position involves providing telemetry nursing care within a community hospital setting that is Joint Commission accredited. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of orientation.

Job Details:

• Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active nursing license; Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); at least 2 years of recent acute care experience; ability to handle a 6 patient ratio; travel experience preferred; familiarity with Medhost Electronic Health Record system; experience with telemetry nursing; no minimum experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: At least 2 years of RN experience; preceptor and charge nurse experience is a plus; experience with total joint, surgical patients, acute on chronic medical conditions such as CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, GIB; compassionate, positive, can-do attitude.
• Additional Information: Floating to other units such as Intensive Care Intermediate Care (IMC) and Emergency Department (ED) is expected as part of the role. Equipment used includes Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed/chair alarms, Omnicell medication dispensing systems, Zoll defibrillators.
