Job Title: Pharmacist (Onsite)

Location: Fresno, CA 93726 (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM (No weekends) — 40 hours/week

Job Type: Contract-to-hire

Position Summary

We’re hiring an onsite Pharmacist for a busy retail/clinical pharmacy setting. You’ll be responsible for safe dispensing, patient counseling, compliance, and day-to-day pharmacy operations while collaborating with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Accept, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately
• Ensure compliance with state/federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files
• Counsel patients on medication use, dosing, side effects, and interactions
• Provide guidance on OTC products and medication storage
• Support services such as blood pressure monitoring, cholesterol management, and smoking cessation (as applicable)
• Educate patients on medical devices (e.g., BP monitors, glucose meters)
• Compound medications as needed; prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
• Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians/clerks) and support workflow priorities
• Monitor inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies
• Identify medication-related issues and communicate with prescribers/healthcare team

Requirements (Must Have)

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Active pharmacist license in the state of California (in good standing)
• Able to work onsite in Fresno, CA (93726)
• Comfortable with the Monday–Friday 10:30 AM–7:00 PM schedule
• Able to start immediately on a contingent basis (required)

Preferred

• Experience supervising pharmacy technicians/clerks
• Strong patient counseling and customer-service skills (including device education)
