Job Title: Mechanical Assembler - Weekend 1st Shift
Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler where you will be responsible for building large cooling units. This role requires comfort and proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as experience with metal framing, copper tubing, drilling, and piping. The position involves reading and following instructions from leads or diagrams and performing repetitive assembly operations. Hands-on training will be provided to ensure you are equipped to inspect parts and verify assembly specifications.

Responsibilities

• Build large cooling units using hand and power tools.
• Work with metal framing, copper tubing, drilling holes, and piping.
• Read and interpret diagrams and instructions from leads.
• Perform basic, standardized, and repetitive assembly operations and labeling.
• Manually assemble inserted components per visual aids.
• Utilize manual lifting devices and perform heavy lifting (team lifts).
• Inspect parts to ensure correct assembly.

• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and understand visual aids and diagrams.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Electrical knowledge is a plus.
• Ideal candidates have 1+ years of experience in detailed mechanical assembly.

Work Environment

You will be working in an extremely clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing site with potential growth into a 3 million square foot campus. Steel toe shoes are required. The shift is Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with an added 4 hours of pay for completing 36 hours without being late, leaving early, or being absent.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

The pay range for this position is $25.30 - $25.30/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Memphis,TN.
